Terms of Use
Last updated 28 August 2026
By using Cocktail AI you agree to what follows. If you do not, delete the app — that is the whole of your obligation.
Recipes are suggestions, not instructions from a professional
The app generates recipes with a language model. It can misidentify a bottle, invent an ingredient, get a measurement wrong, or suggest a combination no bartender would serve. Read a recipe before you make it.
Allergies and intolerances are your call. The app does not know your medical history and cannot warn you. Recipes routinely involve egg, dairy, nuts, and citrus. If an ingredient is a problem for you, check the list yourself every time.
Nothing in the app is medical, dietary, or nutritional advice. Do not use it to decide what is safe for you to drink.
Alcohol and age
You must be old enough to buy alcohol where you live. Do not use this app to prepare drinks for anyone who is not, and do not drink and drive. Drink responsibly — the app will happily generate a recipe every time you ask, which is not the same as a recommendation to make one.
Subscriptions
- Cocktail AI offers auto‑renewing subscriptions. The price, the period, and the currency are shown in the app before you confirm, and those on-screen terms are the ones that apply.
- Payment is charged to your Apple ID at confirmation of purchase.
- Subscriptions renew automatically unless you turn off auto‑renew at least 24 hours before the current period ends. Your account is charged for renewal within 24 hours of the end of the period.
- Manage or cancel in Settings → your name → Subscriptions on your device. Deleting the app does not cancel a subscription.
- Refunds are handled by Apple, not by us. Request one through reportaproblem.apple.com.
- Unused free trial time, if a trial is offered, is forfeited when you buy a subscription.
What you may and may not do
Use the app normally and it is yours to use. Do not attempt to break it, resell access, scrape it, feed it images that are not yours to upload, or use it to generate content that is illegal where you are.
Your content and ours
Photos you take remain yours. You grant us only the permission needed to run the app: to store the photo and pass it to the services listed in the privacy policy so a recipe can be generated. We do not use your photos to train models.
Recipes and images the app generates for you are yours to use, including commercially. Generated output is not unique — another user asking for something similar may receive something similar.
Availability
The app depends on services that can go down, change, or become too expensive to run. It is provided as is, without warranty. We do not promise it will always be available, and features may change or be removed between versions.
Liability
To the extent the law allows, our total liability to you is limited to what you paid for the app in the twelve months before the claim. Nothing here limits liability that cannot legally be limited — including for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud.
Apple
Apple is not a party to these terms and has no obligation to provide support for the app. Apple and its subsidiaries are third‑party beneficiaries of these terms and may enforce them against you.
Changes
These terms may change. Continuing to use the app after the date at the top changes means you accept the new version.
